Image2TTY Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 17, 2026
Image2TTY is a native macOS utility for turning clipboard images into local paths, remote paths, or shell upload scripts.
Data Processed by the App
Image2TTY reads image data from the macOS clipboard only when you ask it to perform a copy workflow. The app may save generated image files locally, upload them to remote destinations you configure, or include encoded image data in a shell upload script.
Local Storage
Image2TTY stores app settings, destination profiles, history records, file cleanup preferences, and trial status on your Mac. Remote profile passwords are stored in macOS Keychain. The local 7-day trial start date is also stored in Keychain when available.
Remote Uploads
If you configure a remote profile, Image2TTY uses SSH to stream generated image data to the host and directory you provide. The app does not upload clipboard images to 3dana.com or any other hosted backend unless you explicitly configure that destination yourself.
Shell Upload Scripts
Shell Upload mode generates a script that can write the image file in the shell where you paste it. That script is created locally and copied to the clipboard at your request.
Purchases
Image2TTY uses Apple's StoreKit framework for the optional Image2TTY Pro unlock. Apple handles payment processing, refunds, and purchase history. Image2TTY does not receive your payment card details.
Analytics and Tracking
Image2TTY does not include third-party advertising trackers, analytics services, or data sale.
